detail of Malewa

MEAL DISPLAYINGREDIENTSDIRECTIONSSHARED BY:
1 • The ready cooked small pieces of 'Malewa'(bamboo shoots).
2 • A small cup of almost ready fresh peas
3 • 2 slices of bacon cut into small pieces
4 • 4 bulbs of spring onions.
5 • Red onion cut into rings.
6 • 1 tsp of vegetable oil
7 • 1 tsp of soy sauce
8 • tsp of salt
9 • Pepper
10 • A few drops of chilli oil
1 • Heat up the oil in a frying pan
2 • add the bacon cuts fry to just about crisp.
3 • Add the onions (both spring and red)
4 • stir fry for about 2 mins
5 • add the peas and stir fry until crisp tender
6 • Add bamboo shoots, soy sauce, salt and pepper
7 • fry for about 2 mins
8 • Add a few drops of chilli oil
9 • fry for about a minute.
10 • Take it off the heat, fluff and stand for about 5 mins then serve.
